CallRail publishes openly readable REST API v3 documentation at apidocs.callrail.com covering accounts, calls, companies, conversations, form submissions, leads, SMS threads, tags, trackers, and users. The platform also offers an official hosted MCP server at mcp.callrail.com/mcp (documented in a support article updated 2026-09-16) using CallRail OAuth for authentication. The MCP connector is listed in the Claude Connector ecosystem and supports Claude Desktop, ChatGPT (beta), and manual setups. Tools include both read-only and write operations. MCP usage is billed the same as API usage (0-1500 calls/month free, premium and platinum tiers for higher volumes). Access inherits the connected user's CallRail permissions, and transcripts follow the same entitlement rules as the CallRail application.
